Charles P. Garcia
Co-founder of Garcia Trujillo LLC
“If you knew that you could not fail, what could you accomplish?”
In June 2014, Charlie Garcia was selected to lead the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). He is a successful entrepreneur who founded Sterling Financial which he grew from three people to offices in seven countries and $2 billion in assets prior to selling it in 2005. In less than 18 months, he has grown ALPFA’s membership from 12,000 to 76,000 students and professionals, with a goal of reaching a million members by 2020.
ALPFA Latino students gain the skills and mentors they need to move from the outside of America’s economic mainstream to the center of it. Its proven model has made it the “go to” organization for companies seeking to recruit, retain, and develop Latino professionals, including Bank of America, State Street, Wells Fargo, Boeing, PwC, Walmart, Deloitte, Microsoft, KPMG, and hundreds of other of our country’s largest employers.
